Overview
On this Kenya big cat’s safari, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to soak up the beauty and diversity of Kenya’s scenery and wildlife on this special holiday tour. You will be travelling with your own personal guide who will skillfully share with you his knowledge and experience as he guides you to spectacular savannahs, lush wilderness, rainforests and sparkling lakes. All packed with every sort of wildlife.
You’ll watch the big game from the comfort and the safety of your safari Land Cruiser. You’ll also have the chance to go on boat safari, hike and even bike ride past gently grazing animals. So, get ready for lots of experiences and adventures. There will be new cultures, new sceneries and a new type of holiday awaiting you on this unique African safari adventure.
Your holiday tour begins at Amboseli National Park. This park is known as the best spot in Africa to view elephants. But you’ll also find wildebeest, zebra, lion, cheetah and more. And all of this with spectacular Mt. Kilimanjaro towering in the distance.
Up next is the special Aberdare National Park, set in a lush rainforest, with high waterfalls. Your stay here is in a tree hotel! From your balcony, you’ll be able to view elephant, rhino, buffalo and hyena among the game found in this unique park.
On your way to Ol Pejeta, there will be stops at the Equator. The Conservancy is known for its herds of black rhino and its chimpanzee sanctuary. But also keep an eye out for lion, buffaloes and other small game.
Your holiday safari continues passing scenic Thompson’s Falls and on to Lake Naivasha. Here you’ll take an easy boat ride past hippos, diverse bird life and small game on the shore. Nearby Crescent Island is home to giraffe, zebra, impala, countless birds and a fun walking tour close to the animals. Then we’ll take a unique bicycle safari around Hell’s Gate National Park riding our bikes past grazing giraffe, zebra and antelope.
Now get ready for the big one – or the Big Five as we sometimes say. Your final and perhaps biggest adventure is at the Masai Mara. This massive savannah grassland hosts the widest variety of wildlife on the tour and indeed in the region. You’ll spend more than two days here soaking up the sights and sounds of this world-famous park.
Your 10-days African holiday will be incomplete without visiting the Masai tribes. If you wish, - at an optional fee, visit a Masai village or take a balloon ride over the great reserve, viewing the great herds below.

0730hrs: Pick up from Nairobi airport /Nairobi hotel.
Depart for this Kenya safari tour.
The morning drive is via the Nairobi- Mombasa highway.
The scenic drive is through open Africa with expansive savannah plains dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai tribes men and their cattle.
You arrive at the Amboseli national park in time for a welcome shower, refreshments and lunch.
An afternoon game viewing drive is scheduled when animals are at their most active.
Weather permitting the Mount Kilimanjaro snow -capped peaks shall be visible during the afternoon game viewing drive.
Overnight at your Amboseli safari lodge or tented camp.
2: Amboseli National Park - Full Day
This shall be a day of Game viewing drives, scenery viewing, and relaxation.
Day shall be spent at the Amboseli national park with maximum game viewing drives spotting game and wallowing in the scenery.
There shall be an early morning, mid-morning and an afternoon game viewing drive
In between the wildlife viewing, your safari lodge / camp shall provide relaxation, meals and other activities
Your safari driver guide and vehicle are at your disposal for unlimited game viewing drives.
Overnight at your Amboseli safari lodge / tented camp.
3: Amboseli – Aberdares National Park
We exit Amboseli with a long drive to Aberdares National Park.
We shall stop for lunch and refreshments at Blue post hotels at Thika.
Our drive shall then proceed via the central highlands of the country.
Overnight at your tree lodge with game viewing from the balconies of your cabin.
What may see/do at Aberdare National Park
Bird watching, game viewing and photography.
4: Aberdares National Park – Ol Pejeta
There shall be stops to view tea / coffee plantations and a main local market
Afternoon game viewing drives including opportunities to see Rhino and Chimpanzee.
Overnight at your Ol Pejeta Safari lodge/tented camp.
What you may see / do around Ol Pejeta
Elephants, Tree hyrax, white tailed mongoose, black fronted dicker, mole rat, bushbuck, water buck, Elands, rhino, chimpanzee.
5: Ol Pejeta Game Conservancy – Full Day
Today shall be a wildlife extravaganza at the conservancy with a rich diversity of wildlife.
Some of the world’s endangered wildlife can be found at Ol Pejeta Game Conservancy like the, Grevys Zebra, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Chimpanzees, Lions and if lucky Cheetahs.
Overnight at your Ol Pejeta Safari logde/tented camp.
6: Ol Pejeta – Lake Naivasha
(Approx. 4 hrs)
Depart Olpejeta / Sweetwaters and proceed to the Lake Naivasha in the Rift valley.
The scenic drive is via Thomson’s Falls where you stop to view the waterfalls.
Afternoon boat ride to view hippos, rich bird life and small game.
Later guided walking safari at the Crescent Island.
Overnight at your Lake Naivasha safari lodge/tented camp.
7: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara
(Approx. 5-6 hrs)
Morning trek at Hell’s Gate.
We hire bicycle to explore this small national park with sightings of Giraffe, Zebra and other large antelopes.
Later exit the lake Naivasha and proceed to the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Arrive Masai Mara and proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive.
Overnight shall be at your Masai Mara safari Lodge or tented camp
8: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Full Day
Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!
The Mara as popularly known remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world.
It is host to the highest and varied concentration of wild animals than any other park in the region.
The scenic appeal of this tree studded savannah plains, its moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.
We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.
We shall visit the Mara river where we may watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October).
9: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Full Day
Extra day shall be spent at the Masai Mara with game viewing drives.
Optional Trip Enhancements
We offer an optional visit to a Masai village at Masai Mara. Please arrange this with your driver/guide. Cost: $20 per person.

10: Masai Mara – Nairobi
Wrapping up your African safari package today is a leisurely morning breakfast at your tented safari camp/ safari lodge, afterward you have an option to visit the Masai village before starting your journey back to Nairobi.
Your dedicated expert driver guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi with stops along the way. We’ll depart Masai Mara with a hot lunch stop along the way, arriving in Nairobi during late afternoon hours (approximately 15:00Hrs, typically 3:00 Pm) and bring you to your Nairobi hotel, or the Nairobi airport.
