Itinerary
Expand allCollapse all1: Nairobi - Amboseli
Our African safari tour will kick off at 5:30 Am. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Wilson Airport.
The flight departs at 7:30 to Amboseli National Park (1 Hour Flight). On your touchdown at the airstrip near the park, your guide will meet you in a private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser jeep for the quick trip to Amboseli.
We’ll check in at our tented safari camp/ safari lodge and get ready for the first game drive of our 6-day safari vacation in Kenya after a sumptuous lunch. There are countless spots that offer breathtaking views of the park with the famous Mount Kilimanjaro serving as a background to the home of the giants.
We’ll also be on the lookout for other big game like lions, buffalo, and even hippos. Return for dinner and overnight at your tented safari camp/ Amboseli safari lodge.
2: Full Day - Amboseli
Today we’ll be up early to enjoy the magical sunrise at the park, watching the great Kilimanjaro views.
After breakfast, head out on our first game drive of the day. Today you can discuss with your guide how much safari time you’d like and if or when you just want to relax at your Amboseli accommodation.
We’re certain to see plenty of elephants although we’ll also be looking for other wildlife.
You’ll also be driven up Observation Hill, where we can have a great look of the entire park including the marshlands, home to hippos and waterfowl like pelicans and the Egyptian goose.
Return for dinner and overnight at our Amboseli safari lodge/ tented safari camp, signaling the end of our second day of this African vacation package.
3: Amboseli - Masai Mara
Amboseli – Masai Mara Flight
Wake up early today then we’ll head off to the airstrip for our flight to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, one of the top safari in Africa and the best wildlife safari tour in Kenya.
Our flight departs at around 08:10 hrs. (8:00 am) and our quick scenic trip takes us through to Masai Mara. Upon touchdown, our driver/guide will meet you at the airstrip, and drive you to your Masai Mara tented safari camp/ safari lodge to freshen up.
We will have lunch then plan for our afternoon game drive before dinner.
Return for dinner and overnight at your Masai Mara safari lodge/ tented safari camp.
4 - 5 : Full Days - Masai Mara
Today we will wake up early enough to enjoy a cup of coffee before heading out on our first game drive of course with an option to carry packed breakfast with us. The iconic Masai Mara is rich in wildlife and has a high density of big 5 cats and herbivores which will be a key focus during our time here.
Depending on what we see, we can return to our tented safari camp/ safari lodge for lunch/ have a picnic lunch in the park as we try to maximize our time out in the field. Afterwards, we will head out again around 14:00 to follow up from the morning sightings in search of some more wildlife photographic opportunities. We should return back to camp for dinner and overnight.

6: Masai Mara – Nairobi
Masai Mara – Nairobi (1 Hour Flight)
Wrapping up your African safari package today is a leisurely morning breakfast at your tented safari camp/ safari lodge, afterward you have an option to visit the Masai village before starting your journey back to Nairobi.
We’ll next head to the nearby Masai Mara airstrip for the flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival an onward drop transfer to your Nairobi hotel / Nairobi airport (JKIA) for your flight home signals the end of this African safari tour.
