Expand allCollapse all1: Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve
0730 Am. Our Kenya safari from Nairobi kicks off with a pick up from your Nairobi City hotel, enter your safari vehicle and start the safari by 0815 am as we leave Nairobi for a journey south through the floor of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment.
We’ll stop during our journey to stretch and admire the scenic drama of the historical Rift Valley escarpment.
Enjoy (hot) lunch at Narok Town as we prepare to proceed to Masai Mara. Arriving at the Masai Mara in the afternoon, we’ll have time for our first game drive over the savannah of this beautiful park, with its many iconic acacia trees punctuating the landscape.
This rich and diverse eco-system offers the most wildlife of any park in the region so be ready for plenty of animal spotting. We will return to our Masai Mara safari camp/ safari lodge late evening where dinner and overnight await.
2: Full-Day In Masai Mara National Reserve
This will be a day of unlimited game drives for your group. Explore the depth and breadth of the most famous park in the world. We will start off our safari vacation with early breakfast and carry our packed picnic lunch boxes which we’ll enjoy in the afternoon hours, maximizing our time out in the field.
Sightings of the Big Five are not uncommon so keep an eye out for lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino.
Your adventure safari in Kenya will be incomplete without a tour to the Masai Mara River. You will have an opportunity to drive down to this Mara River, site of the Kenya Great Migration, if you are lucky to be in season – (July through October), the immense herds of wildebeest and zebra are a magnificent sight, matched only by the drama of the predators who lie in wait for them.
At the river, we’ll see hippos but also camouflaged in their natural habitat we’ll spot the many crocodiles awaiting the wildlife traversing the river. This is a spectacle that has played out for millennia.
Dinner and overnight will be at your Masai Mara safari camp.
3: Masai Mara – Nairobi City
Wrapping up your Kenya safari package today is a leisurely morning breakfast at your tented safari camp/ safari lodge, afterward, to bring more interest to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer. Experience a visit to the local Masai people in their nearby village. Meet these indigenous people and see up close their ancient lifestyle and culture.
Later, your dedicated expert driver guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi with stopovers enroute. We’ll depart Masai Mara with a hot lunch stop along the way, arriving in Nairobi during late afternoon hours (approximately 15:00Hrs, typically 3:00 Pm) and bring you to your Nairobi hotel, or the Nairobi airport.
