We start off with the popular Amboseli National Park, framed by snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, with the land decorated with eye-catching acacia trees and filled with a good number of elephants proudly marching by. Amboseli is more than a gift to safari photographers, it also presents safari-goers with its rich array of large game like lion, cheetah, buffalo, and giraffe.

Tsavo East National Park is so extensive you’ll easily fall into its timeless rhythms where the wildlife suddenly appears as if to remind one of the eternal cycles of this land. You’ll be looking for great herds of elephants plus lion, buffalo, eland, impala, and giraffe. Tsavo West Park offers a variety of colours and contours with rhinos and the other Big Five on its vast hills and plains. Expect to find treats here like Mzima Springs, a verdant oasis where the park’s animals gather at its crystalline waters.

Itinerary
Expand allCollapse all1: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
0730hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel / Nairobi airport as we depart for this Kenya safari tour to Amboseli National Park. With an approximate of (3 - 4 hrs.) drive time to be covered, the safari shall take us via the Nairobi- Mombasa highway.
The scenic drive is via open Africa with expansive savannah plains dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai tribe’s men and their cattle.
You will be arriving at the Amboseli National Park in time for a welcome shower, refreshments and lunch.
An afternoon game viewing drive is scheduled when animals are at their most active. Weather permitting, the mount Kilimanjaro snow -capped peaks shall be visible during the afternoon game viewing drive.
You will return back to the Amboseli tented safari camp/ safari lodge for dinner and overnight.
2: Amboseli -Tsavo West
We begin our second day of this African tour early enough with a short morning game drive and later on return to your tented safari camp/ safari lodge for breakfast. We’ll later on leave Amboseli National Park for Tsavo West (an approximate 3-hour drive).
We’ll have a game en-route with a visit to the nearby Mzima Springs where you can see crocodiles, hippos, exotic fish and migratory birds. There’s a chance to spot monkeys in these surroundings. Afterward, proceed to your safari lodge for check-in and lunch.
This will be followed by an afternoon game drive where we will explore more of Tsavo West in search of the elephants, rhinos, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.
Dinner and overnight at Tsavo West tented safari camp/ safari lodge.
3: Tsavo West – Taita Hills Sanctuary
Today our African wildlife safari begins with an early morning breakfast then leave Tsavo West for Taita Hills Sanctuary an approximate of 3 hour drive to the main gate with game en route to Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge. Check in and have lunch. An afternoon game drive will follow as we head out in search of the Kenya safari animals like the well-known predators and mammals like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Lion, and Leopard etc.
Dinner and overnight at the tented safari camp/ safari lodge.
4: Taita Hills Sanctuary - Tsavo East
On our fourth day (4), we will have a short morning game drive before heading back to the camp/lodge for breakfast and checkout. This time our African safari vacation will see us drive to Tsavo East National Park, approximately 2-3 hours away.
The park is famous for the herds of the Red-Dusted Elephants. The plan is to arrive in time for a quick lunch and prepare for the afternoon safari activity till sunset. Watch in close range the crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks, lesser kudu, wildebeests, gerenuk, zebras, giraffes, and many more. Head back to your tented safari camp/ safari lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
5: Tsavo East - Nairobi/Mombasa.
Our final day of this African safari tour begins with a short morning game drive before returning to camp/lodge for breakfast and freshen up before departing for Nairobi City. Upon arrival a short transfer to your Nairobi hotel or the Nairobi airport will signal the end of this wonderful African safari trip.
