Sunset Dhow Cruise & Nungwi Mnarani Aquarium – Nothing beats watching the glorious sunset at the end of the day aboard a traditional dhow on the sea. Prior to the sunset watching, you will sail to Nungwi Mnarani Aquarium a natural lagoon dedicated to protecting turtles and offer them the ideal breeding site. You will get the opportunity to feed and swim with the turtles, a truly magnificent experience.
On this particular day you will start your tour at 2:00pm and leisurely sail on the traditional dhows along the coast. The cruise will take you through to Nungwi Mnarani Aquarium a conservation site that protects the turtles that had been trapped in nets or injured while being hunted in the open sea. The gentle yet strong turtles are a beautiful site to watch and even friendlier when swimming beside them. Your guide will share more details of the turtles present at that moment as they are always moved back to sea when they seem fit to survive there.
From here you will sail to Kendwa beach for swimming and relaxation. Kendwa beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Unguja Island with its clear blue waters and fine sands.
