Overview
What an opportunity to discover Kenya! Discover the giant African elephant herds, Africa Big 5 safari animals, hippos, rhinos and flamingos – the great land masses and golden lakes of Rift Valley – they’re all here on this grand African discovery tour.
This private 8-day safari in Kenya’s national parks will bring you close to the heart of 5 great game reserves: Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Hell’s Gate Park and the Masai Mara Park.
The tour is designed to move at a comfortable pace for everyone. There will be plenty of time for game viewing and for relaxing at your safari lodge or tented camp.
Your Vulture African Safari leaves Nairobi for the attractive views found in Amboseli National Park. Here you’ll see Africa’s tallest peak, Mt Kilimanjaro – a towering backdrop to your stay. Amongst elephants, zebra, giraffe and dozens of bird species you’ll spend two nights here.
Lake Naivasha is up next on your tour. This cool, attractive lake is home to hippos, zebras and bird life. Here you’ll take an easy boat safari, viewing the wildlife grazing on the shore.
The nearby Crescent Island Park offers a walking safari where you will walk close to giraffes, zebras, impalas and waterbucks, and even buffaloes.
Then we’ll travel on to Hell’s Gate National Park. There are no big cats here, so we’ll have the opportunity to hike and ride our bicycles past impalas, buffaloes, giraffes and zebras. You can’t get much closer to nature than this!
Our safari continues to Lake Nakuru Park. Watch the few quantity of flamingos accompanied by other birdlife – pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers, ostriches, storks as well as herons and eagles. The scene here is busy and full of color. But that’s only the beginning of what this special park has to offer because the wildlife viewing here is easy and accessible. Lake Nakuru is known for hosting some endangered but beautiful species. You’re sure to see rare Rothschild’s Giraffe along with white rhino, especially along the lakeshore. The park is also sanctuary to one of Kenya’s largest populations of black rhino. But perhaps the most unique attraction at Lake Nakuru Park are the endangered black & white rhinos. Leopards can also be seen.
There are even more flamingos to be seen at Lake Bogoria National Reserve and we’ll visit there if you wish (at extra park fees of USD 60 Per Person).
Our final safari stop is at world-famous Masai Mara game reserve. The Mara is a place of vast grasslands, dotted with signature acacia trees. Here you’ll find thousands of wildebeests, zebras and many other species marching across this famous plain. There will be lots of game drives for you to spot the Big Five, plus many other wildlife, during your stay here.
