0530hrs: Pick Up From Your Nairobi Hotel
Nairobi National Park
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel, proceed to the Nairobi National Park on an average 5 hour day tour. You shall follow the wildlife tracks of the Nairobi National Park in search of Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Giraffe, Ostrich, Hippo, White and Black Rhino, Buffalo and other game.
We shall also visit other attractions including the Ivory burning site monument and guided walking at the hippo pool trails.
Later depart for Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage.
1: Nairobi National Park - Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage
We proceed to Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage for an interaction with baby elephants and rhinos. Great place to see the elephants being fed and playing.
Get the opportunity to adopt an Elephant Orphan or Rhino Orphan with the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Nairobi Kenya.
Learn about the elephants, their life stories how the rescue conservation project works.
This is the only place where you can really get close to the elephants and even touch them.
1: Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage - Giraffe Center
We shall have a lunch break before we proceed to our next destination.
During the afternoon hours, we will pay a visit to the nearby Giraffe Center for a close-up view and feeding of the endangered Rothschild giraffes.
One of the keepers will give you some food pellets that you will feed the giraffes as you get up close. You can even get closer by going to the Feeding Platform.
Here there is also an opportunity to attend a short lecture on the giraffe to learn how and why we are taking care of this endangered animal.
Later at an advised time in the late afternoon hours we will depart the Giraffe Centre and drive you back to your hotel.
