Meet the Last Northern White Rhinos
Remember, all our itineraries are totally flexible and can be changed to suit you.
Visiting Rhino Sanctuary at Olpejeta Conservancy
Ol Pejeta is known for its heroic efforts at saving endangered and threatened wildlife. The rhino sanctuary here hosts 100 black rhinos, the largest protected population in East Africa. Also, of note, the last two northern white rhinos left in the world live in this protected enclave.Â
(Not possible to visit the Northern White Rhinos while on a day trip).
Follow the extraordinary journey of Najin and Fatu—the last two northern white rhinos on Earth—and the remarkable people fighting for their future.
The two remaining rhino now live in the 700-acre rhino enclosure. Here, visitors have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet these remarkable rhinos up close and personal and to hear their amazing story from the keepers that look after them 24/7. All proceeds from the Meet the Northern White Rhinos experience are reinvested into the continuing efforts to pull the species back from the verge of extinction.
This activity is available daily from the Morani Information Centre at 8:30 am, 11:00 am, 3:00 pm, and 4:30 pm.
