This tour offers you plenty of time to experience the wildlife sightings at these three distinctive parks – Amboseli, Tsavo West and Tsavo East. Each park has its own special look and feel – together they sum up a complete African safari adventure. Finalizing your journey, board the Express train and go for relaxation at the crystalline Kenya Coast Beaches.

Amboseli is known for its unstoppable herds of stately elephants marching along with their proud tusks. And the Tsavo parks are famous for their legendary lion kings who are well known by the name – Man Eating Lions of Tsavo - during the colonial era. Your guide for your 5-day journey, you’ll be guided, hosted and looked after by your own experienced driver/guide.

Note: If you prefer instead, you can continue your journey from Tsavo East National Park to Mombasa by safari vehicle.

1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

0730hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel / Nairobi airport as we depart on our Kenya safari tour to Amboseli National Park. With an approximate of (3 - 4 hrs.) drive time to be covered, the safari shall take us via the Nairobi- Mombasa highway.

The scenic drive is via open Africa with expansive savannah plains dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai tribe’s men and their cattle.

You will be arriving at the Amboseli National Park in time for a welcome shower, refreshments and lunch.

An afternoon game viewing drive is scheduled when animals are at their most active. Weather permitting, the mount Kilimanjaro snow -capped peaks shall be visible during the afternoon game viewing drive.

You will return back to the Amboseli tented safari camp/ safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

2: Amboseli - Tsavo West

We begin our second day of this African holiday early enough with a short morning game drive and later on return to your tented safari camp/ safari lodge for breakfast. We’ll later on leave Amboseli National Park for Tsavo West (an approximate 3-hour drive).

We’ll have a game en-route with a visit to the nearby Mzima Springs where you can see crocodiles, hippos, exotic fish and migratory birds. There’s a chance to spot monkeys in these surroundings. Afterward, proceed to your safari lodge for check-in and lunch.

This will be followed by an afternoon game drive where we will explore more of Tsavo West in search of the elephants, rhinos, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

Dinner and overnight at Tsavo West tented safari camp/ safari lodge.

3: Tsavo West – Taita Hills Sanctuary

Today our African wildlife safari begins with an early morning breakfast then leave Tsavo West for Taita Hills Sanctuary an approximate of 3 hour drive to the main gate with game en route to Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge. Check in and have lunch. An afternoon game drive will follow as we head out in search of the Kenya safari animals like the well-known predators and mammals like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Lion, and Leopard etc.

Dinner and overnight at the tented safari camp/ safari lodge.

4: Taita Hills Sanctuary to Tsavo East

On our fourth day (4), we will have a short morning game drive before heading back to the camp/lodge for breakfast and checkout. This time our African safari vacation will see us drive to Tsavo East National Park, approximately 2-3 hours away.

The park is famous for the herds of the Red-Dusted Elephants. The plan is to arrive in time for a quick lunch and prepare for the afternoon safari activity till sunset.

We’re certain to see all sorts of wildlife at the watering holes of Mudanda Rock and Aruba Dam, a draw for hundreds, if not thousands, of elephants and other animals.

Watch in close range the crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks, lesser kudu, wildebeests, gerenuk, zebras, giraffes, and many more. Head back to your tented safari camp/ safari lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

5: Tsavo East – Kenyan Coast Beaches

Our last day of safari!

We’ll celebrate our final day on safari with an early morning game drive watching the sun come over the rugged terrain of Kenya’s largest park. It’s been an exciting 5 days, but it’s not over yet.

We’ll enjoy more game viewing as we exit the park on our way to the train station at Voi for your trip to the Kenya coast. And on the way there you’ll be traveling through parts of Tsavo East, so you’ll have more opportunities to view the park and possibly some wildlife.

At the train station, your driver/guide will assist you with tickets and transfer to the Madaraka Express, the new high-speed train to Mombasa and the coast.

Your first-class ticket is included with the tour, so enjoy the comfort of your air-conditioned compartment and comfortable seat. The train’s route is positioned higher than the roadway and offers an elevated view of the parks. And with its large windows you’ll enjoy wonderful vistas of the passing landscapes.

There’s also a buffet car for drinks and snacks, and clean restrooms for your convenience. In a little under 2 hours, you’ll arrive at the state-of-the-art train station in Mombasa.

12:08pm:  Depart for Mombasa on the Madaraka Express Train with elevated country views through Tsavo East national parks.

14:00pm: Arrive Mombasa train station where you shall be met by your transfer vehicle and driver.

Transfer to your hotel or resort is also included – we’ll pick you up and bring you to your local hotel or resorts in Mombasa, Diani, Watamu, Kilifi or Malindi beach.
