Overview
Starting from the Kenyan beaches of Mombasa, Watamu, or Diani beach resorts and finishing off at Nairobi area hotels or airport, we shall be visiting 2 famous wildlife parks – Tsavo East and Amboseli National Parks.
Enjoy this amazing African private safari in a customized pop-up roof - 4×4 Safari Jeep.
Above all, you will be travelling with a skilled local safari guide who will ensure you have an unforgettable safari experience.
We start off with Tsavo East National Park, home to the famous Tsavo lions and red-dust elephants. The lions are the stuff of ferocious legend, from times gone by. But you can spot them from the safety of your 4 x 4 Jeep. The elephants love to roll in the park’s famous red-dust soil and will delight you with their fashionable rose-colored dusty coats.
Amboseli National Park presents a very different atmosphere, framed by world-famous Mt. Kilimanjaro. This charming park has light foliage which makes game spotting easier… and the game is plentiful here – all the Big Five plus many smaller species like hyena, fox, jackal, and monkey. But perhaps the biggest draw to Amboseli is its reputation for being the best spot in Africa to spot free-ranging elephants. You can’t miss them as they march in groups before mighty Kilimanjaro, creating picture-postcard views daily.
This busy 3-day Kenya safari is easily arranged, and can start at any notice. You’ll spend a night in each park with plenty of game drives, spotting wild animals over the parks’ savannahs. Vulture African Safaris offers not only the finest safaris but also specializes in tour personalization. Let us show you beautiful places.

Itinerary
Expand allCollapse all1: Kenya Beaches – Tsavo East National Park
Your driver/guide will pick you up early from your Kenya coast beach resort or hotel in a 4 x 4 Jeep for your safari journey.
We’ll head out on the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway, also known as the Early Explorer’s route to Tsavo East National Park.
Upon arriving at Tsavo East, you’ll notice that the park is big, wild and rugged. There are endless grasslands and savannah – a true wilderness. Look for lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, plus giraffes nibbling at the treetops.
The park is dry which makes it easier to spot the game. We’ll visit the Aruba Dam, a man-made structure but a natural watering hole for the wildlife. Great herds of animals and flocks of birds are drawn to the running waters here for their sustenance.
The afternoon shall be spent on game viewing drives in search of more wildlife species.
Tsavo East is expansive, game viewing drives are long and rewarding.
You’ll spend the night here at Tsavo East at your choice of safari lodge or tented safari camp.
2: Tsavo East - Amboseli
Now that we’re on safari, let’s make the most of our adventure and get up with the birds and enjoy a glorious African sunrise. This is a special time of day in nature when the night burns off and the wildlife begins to stir.
We’ll start with an early morning game drive looking for elephant, zebra, eland, and impala… and whoever else we may come across.
Later, we’ll head out for Amboseli Park, with more game viewing possible along the way.
Heading for Amboseli, look for the signature peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro as your beacon to the park. Amboseli lies at the foot of Africa’s tallest mountain.
The herds of elephants are so plentiful here, you are guaranteed sightings of these majestic creatures. The wildlife spotting at Amboseli is diverse and plentiful.
While at the reserve, if you wish, you can take an optional visit to meet the local Maasai in a nearby village. See their lifestyle, their culture, and their handicrafts. Just ask your guide to make arrangements.
Toward evening the cloud cover, sometimes obscuring Kilimanjaro’s snowy summit may burn off displaying one of Africa’s most beautiful sights.
You’ll spend your final safari night at Amboseli at either your safari lodge or tented camp.
3: Amboseli – Nairobi
We will have another early morning game drive to catch the awakening wonders of this park, followed by a hearty safari breakfast.
We may visit Observation Hill, an ideal spot to get great vistas of the park and see more wildlife, especially the elephants.
Finally, we’ll bid farewell to the plains of Amboseli and the towering presence of Kilimanjaro as we head on to Nairobi.
We’ll arrive in Nairobi in the early evening, bringing you to your hotel, residence or the airport.
We’ve traveled a good distance from the coast, experiencing an exciting world of Kenyan wonders over our 3-day safari. Thank you for joining us and please remember Vulture African Safaris the next time you’re looking for adventure.
