A full week of safari! The true taste of Kenya’s wildlife and scenery. There will be plenty of time for you to view game and relax at key points during this family friendly safari holiday.
Let’s kick-off our tour to Amboseli National Park. On the way to Amboseli and while there, keep an eye on the famous Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. There are so many elephants at Amboseli you’re guaranteed a sighting. Also, be on the lookout for lion, cheetah, zebra and more.
Then it’s on to the rift valley and Lake Naivasha, home to hippos, bird life and a beautiful blue lake. You’ll enjoy an afternoon boat safari viewing the wildlife around the lake including nearby giraffe and zebra over on the shore.
But there’s still more viewing pleasures on this busy day – enjoy a guided walking tour at nearby Crescent Island where you’ll stroll past impala, giraffe, zebra and many species of birds. Hell’s Gate National Park, is nearby, and we’ll bicycle over to view zebra, giraffe, buffalo and smaller game.
Lake Nakuru National Park features great rocky escarpments tower over acacia forest, waterfalls, wooded hills and euphorbia trees dot the lake. The few flamingos are accompanied by other birdlife – pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers, ostriches, storks as well as herons and eagles. The scene here is bountiful, busy and full of color.
Lake Nakuru Park wildlife viewing is easy and accessible. Lake Nakuru is known for hosting some endangered but beautiful species. You’re sure to spot leopards, rare Rothschild’s Giraffe along with white rhino, especially along the lakeshore. The park is also sanctuary to one of Kenya’s largest populations of black rhino.
If you wish to see even more great flocks of these pink flamingos gathered along a rift valley lake, we can visit Lake Bogoria National Reserve instead.
Your next and final destination of this 7-days tour is the Masai Mara. Get ready to view the Big Five here and much more. The Mara is the richest and most diverse eco-system in the region. If you wish, for an optional fee visit a Masai village or take a Hot Air Balloon ride over the great reserve, viewing the vast herds below. It’s the perfect place to finish up your holiday safari adventures.

Itinerary
Expand allCollapse all1 - 2 : Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
We will depart at 0730 am. Pick up from your Nairobi hotel/ Nairobi airport and begin our Kenya wildlife safari across the eye-catching landscapes to Amboseli National Park, approximately 4 hours away.
You arrive at the Amboseli National Park in time for checking in at our tented safari camp/ safari lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch, we will proceed for an afternoon safari till sunset after which we will head back to our Amboseli tented camp/ safari lodge for dinner and overnight.
With Amboseli National Park boasting magnificent views of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro, the following morning will see us wake up to a tasteful breakfast with our focus being to spend as much time as possible with wildlife, in turn maximizing our photographic opportunities.
This will be a full day of game viewing drives. Plenty of time to soak up the wildlife and the magnificent scenery. And we’ve allowed time for relaxation as well.
There will be an early morning game drive. Then breakfast will be followed by a mid-morning drive. After a comfortable lunch we’ll set out on a later afternoon game drive.

Return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight at your Amboseli safari lodge/ tented safari camp.
3: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha
Today, our Kenya safari holiday will see us proceed to the Lake Naivasha at the floors of the Great Rift Valley where plenty of adventure awaits.
Arrive at the Lake Naivasha in time for lunch.
Afternoon boat safari at the Lake Naivasha where you view exotic birdlife and hippos amid the serenity of this freshwater rift valley lake.
Later proceed for a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island.
Crescent Island where you’ll get a chance to do nature walks in the park, we call it the best part of this Africa safari trip because it’s a true nature’s paradise. Enjoy the boat rides with an incredible chance for photographic sessions during your stay in the area.
Dinner and overnight at your Lake Naivasha safari lodge / tented safari camp.
4: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru
We shall hire bikes and cycle to the nearby Hel’ls gate national park where you explore on foot this canyon as you spot small game.
Later a short 1 hour drive will take us to the Lake Nakuru National Park.
Birdlife abounds with flamingoes seen in their thousands together with pelicans and other bird species.
The Lake Nakuru National Park is home to the black and white rhino species, warthogs, lions, zebras, giraffe and many more.
Besides the flamingos and rhinoceros with amazing raised ridges the park offers amazing viewpoints for birding, game viewing and sightseeing, explore these viewpoints for unmatchable scenic photography backgrounds among other things. We’ll spend the night here and then rise for an early morning game drive and bird watching. Dinner and overnight at your Lake Nakuru safari lodge / tented safari camp.
5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
We’ve got lots to see on this safari vacation today so let’s start with an extensive early morning safari through the park before we exit Lake Nakuru National Park heading for Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the best places to go on safari, and for a good reason.
At an advised time, proceed to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, one of the top African safari tours especially good with first time safari goers in Africa.
Arrive Masai Mara and proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive in search of African big five among other resident mammals.
Dinner and overnight at your Masai Mara safari lodge or tented safari camp.
6: Full Day - Masai Mara
This will be a full day of game viewing drives. Plenty of time to soak up the Kenyan wildlife and the magnificent scenery. And we’ve allowed time for relaxation as well.
Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting African wildlife safari eco-system in the Natural world, producing excellent game all year round.
It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.
The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.
We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing  encountering the African big five and more of the lesser game.
We shall visit the Mara river where we may watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe if you come during the Kenya great migration season (July – October).
Overnight shall be at our Masai Mara safari lodge/ tented safari camp
7: Masai Mara – Nairobi
Wrapping up your African holiday package is a leisurely morning breakfast at your Masai Mara tented safari camp/ safari lodge, afterward you have an option to visit the Masai village before starting your journey back to Nairobi.
Your dedicated expert driver guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi with stops along the way. We’ll depart Masai Mara with a hot lunch stop along the way, arriving in Nairobi during late afternoon hours (approximately 15:00Hrs, typically 3:00 Pm) and bring you to your Nairobi hotel, or the Nairobi airport.
Drop off at your Nairobi City hotel /Nairobi airport signaling the end of our African safari.
